About Melissa
I fully believe that when you love what you do, success will follow. I love showing off the gorgeous area that I am blessed to live, work, and play in. I enjoy the thrill of finding the right home match for buyers and of using creative problem solving to achieve mutual agreement after a challenging negotiation. Using savvy marketing, innovative technology, relevant advertising, and the “humans over houses” approach that Next Home is known for, I love helping clients achieve their goals. My time in the wine country has been spent raising three wonderful kids— now young adults— through the public school system. I spent ten years working in outreach and development for Adventist Health and the Lake County Land Trust, which allowed me to build a strong local network. I believe in service to my community and served for 10 years on the Lake County Board of Education and am now serving on the Local Area Plan Advisory Committee helping to guide the Lake County 2050 General Plan Update. I teach yoga and enjoy everything that this area has to offer, from the world-class wineries to the great outdoors. From education to recreation, I can definitely give you a well-rounded idea of life in Lake County and surrounding areas.
